I have menieres disease and suffer from major episodes of spinning. I on meclizine, hydrochlorothiazide and phenergan. I have constant nausea but tonight my bp. Is 145/109.... never been this high. Is this bad? I am 46 yrs old, female and ht is 5'10 weight is 245. I know I am overweight but I am limited to walking due to spinning and sometimes that is even difficult
Meniere disease is characterized by episodic spinning, hearing loss, ringing in ears.Treatment is by vestibular suppresants, diuretics, salt restricted diet.Surgical options if no relief after maximum medical treatment. One single reading of high bp is not significant, please check it again after 6hrs.As obesity is a risk factor for high bp,it should get investigated by doing blood tests and scanning.
