Hello and welcome, I competely understand your concern. As of now you are receiving procardia for the perterm pain. But the loss of mucus indicates that the cervix may be opening up. In this case use of progesterone, head low position, procardia and even other drugs like isoxsuprine may prevent it. So I suggest that you please call your OB and inform this. Also sicne you have received the steroid shot it is good for the baby. Further bed rest, an evaluation for presence of vaginal infection and treating it if it is there along with drugs will help in preventing preterm labor.
