Is Obimet SR Safe To Use While Breastfeeding?
I am on a diet programme where they have asked me to have tablet obimet sr for a week. I do not have diabties. Also i am breast feeding my 8 month old baby once in a day. the tablet is given for increasing my metabolism. please guide me if the same can be consumed

Metformin (Obimet SR) is safe while breastfeeding. But it is recommended to take while breast feeding, only if you are diabetic. For diet program it is not recommended during breast feeding as there is limited amount observed in breast milk.
