Is Duloxetin Hydrochloride 20mg Prescribed For Diabetic Neuropathy?

I am suffering from Diabetic Neuropathy of my feet. I have been advised to take Duloxetin Hydrochloride 20mg once a day at bedtime. I have read on the internet that this drug is for patients suffering from major depression. I have no depression whatsoever. Is it advisable to take this drug for my condition?

i can understand your concern.
this medication Duloxetine is a kind of pain modulator.
its given in painful diabetic neuropathy to get relief from pain.
it also helps in reduce depression but its not a regular antidepressant medication.
