Irregular Heartbeats. Experiencing Chest Discomfort, Shallow Breathing. Taking Bisoprolol Fumarate. What Do You Advise?

I am a healthy 32 year old woman... Around 5 weeks ago I was admitted into hospital with chest pain and dizziness...I was experiencing heart palpitations but they were not of a quickening but irregular beats... This doesn't happen all the time and was hardly picked up on an ECG. I had a heart echo too, which was all normal. I was having regular dizzy spells almost to blackout but never did blackout! I had extensive tests in hospital which all came back fine! They discharged me with 1.25mg of bisoprolol fumarate to take one a day. I am now on 2.5mg but take half in the AM and half in the PM. My tiredness seems to be better but I'm still experiencing the irregular beats. I have a 24hr Tape coming up this weds to try and detect it. I sometimes experience chest discomfort (not pain as such) and sometimes my breathing seemd a little shallow, mainly when experiencing these episodes. They happen countless times a day and getting really fed up and worried about them. I'm a non smoker and have regular excercise as I have 2 young children and do the school run 6 times a day! I have a good diet too. I drink plenty of water. I am not stressed, depressed or ancious in any way. What do you advise?

Hi,
I read your query and would like to say that it's a good thing that basic ECG and ECHO are normal.
Most probably you have Premature ventricular complex PVC which is a benign arrhythmia and are treated with beta-blockers.
So i suggest to do the 24 hour holter monitoring.
