Infant Has High ESR Count, Other Counts Normal. Treatment And Cure?
Hello doc, my boy baby is 3 months old now, and he is having is ESR count as 26 mm at the end of 1 hr. Also, other counts are not normal. they are as follows. Hb : 10.1, Erythrocyte count : 4.18 , PCV : 31.1 , MCV : 74.4 MCH 244.2, platelet count is 7,95,000. Please tell me, whether my baby is ok. if not what is that and what is the cure.

Do not be scared!
Any mild infection in the baby can increase the ESR. The platelet count is also on the higher side.These results should be interpreted along with the clinical condition.you have not mentioned why this test was done.There may not be anything serious.All the best
