In Sixties, Suffering From Typhoid Fever, Given Antibiotics, No Relief. What To Do?

My father aged 60 is suffering from typhoid fever.He was given antibiotics from doctor.Today is second day,still the fever continues after the intake of medicines(after 4 hrs of taking medicine).Pls let me know whether fever continues after taking medicines.

Typhoid fever will take at least 7 to 14 days to subside even on treatment.
Typhoid fever needs atleast two weeks of treatment.
I will advise your father to continue antibiotics, be positive and take adequate fluids and rest.
If fever continues even after one week of treatment, consult your physician and take his advise.
