IS IBS Associated With Diarrhea Bloody Stool With Cramps?
My 14 year old daughter is dealing with painful cramps, diarrhea (dark stool with red blood and mucus) and nausea. I thought initially it was a stomach bug, but the bloody stool is concerning me. Pain is in her lower abdomen. She was nauseous yesterday and stayed in bed most of the day then seemed okay by the evening. But this morning she was much worse and had developed the blood in her stool. Several are suggesting IBS ... can anyone help?
You have problem of blood in stool that may be because of following cause like.... Intestinal infection, intestinal polyp, divurticulitis , peptic ulcer, anal fusdure or hemorroids.
Some time in irritable bowel syndrom blood can come.
Irritable bowel syndrom stool consistency change and frequency also. More mucuse in stool in irritable bowel syndrom. Abdominal ultrasoundsonography is normal in irritable bowel syndrom.
After taking proper history we can diagnose. Consent a gastroenterologist for further diagnosis.
I hope my advise helpful to you. Thanks.
