I Would Like To Know If The Prescribed Medicines Are Appropriate For My Baby
Hi,my 3 months old got cough n projectile vomits in every 15 days from almost a month ago but doc said it is common for the infants to cough but when his cough became worst with running nose but no fever then doc prescribed Kofarest syp,Sinarest Syp,Ondem Syp, Ondem Syrup, Colicaid Syp,Omnacortil Syp with Nasoclear drops n Nebulization with Levolin,Budecort n Salaine 1 ml each 4 times a day. I have been giving these meds but not getting satisfactory result.Kindly help to know if the prescribed meds are aporopriate

Coughing with vomiting in the age group of 3 months, i would like to consider possibility of Gastro-oesophageal reflux as the possible cause. Also if the vomiting is bilious then the baby will require Ultrasound abdomen for further evaluation.
