Just over a week ago I injured my coccyx after a fall onto hard surface backwards (my back was flat, however, my tail bone received the blunt of fall) It smarted and I iced it right away and took ibuprofin. In a few days it felt better and I actually went to the gym doing isolation exercises mostly. It has been OK, however, squating bending and lifting on the right hurts a little. Today though, I was startled by something that I reacted to very quickly with a ducking motion and bad pain ensued there, and has lingered. Most pain since the initial trama. There has been no brusing and most of the time I have been walking around and doing simple chores fine. It feels re-injured. Could I have a break or, are there tendons that could be torn? Should I get xrays? I like to be active...I am 57 by the way...
