hello
there may be various reason for those spots viz
1.if your wisdom tooth is still not erupted than those spots may be like bumps on the gums which is tearing so that your wisdom tooth comes out , thats normal
2.another reason may be that your opposite arch tooth may be biting the gums ,that seems to be the case as you are saying that they are 2-3 in numbers which may be the impression of the opposite arch tooth cusp
3,also those spots may be some lesions if you have an history of nicotine consumption
so what i would suggest is that you pay a visit to your dentist and get an examination done
in the meanwhile you can do a lot of luke warm saline rinses which has probability of giving you good response
hope this helps

Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

Black dot behind teeth usually occurs either due to pit caries or due to black staining.

Get a thorough clinical evaluation done by a dentist.

Get thorough scaling done.

Decayed teeth has to be restored.

Maintain oral hygiene well.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

Your information is not complete...whatever you have mentioned I feel you may have developed traumatic ulcer behind your tooth...

Do you have any pain on these?

If you have pain then just avoid hot, spicy food...and apply dologel CT locally for 2-3 times...

For this proper clinical evaluation is required...

Consult with Dentist...

Wish you good health...

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

A thorough clinical examination of the site is required.
Is it painful?
What is the exact location of the spots?
Are your wisdom tooth errupting?
This can also be due to infection, smoking, trauma.
I would suggest you to visit to the Dentist and get the checkup done take an x-ray of the region.
At home take lukewarm saline and antispetic mouthwash rinses.

WELCOME TO HCM
FRIEND YOU NOT MENTIONED IF YOU HAVE THE DOTS ON YOUR TOOTH OR TONGUE OR CHEEKS OR GUMS, WHETHER IT IS PAINFUL OR NOT . PLEASE TRY TO BE MORE DESCRIPTIVE AND SPECIFIC NEXT TIME....
NOW WHAT YOU CAN DO IS GO TO SOME DENTIST AND GET THEM EXAMINED, IF THEY ARE NOT PAINFUL AND PRESENT ON THE CHEEK THEY CAN BE DUE TO CHEEK BITE , AND IF PRESENT ON TOOTH DOTS CAN BE DENTAL CARIES ,AND IF ON GUMS THESE DOTS CAN BE PIGMENTATION OR YOU MAY HAVE PERIODONTAL AND GINGIVAL PROBLEM...

Dentist Dr. Juhi Soni's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query,
You need to mention the site of these dots...
Whether they are on tooth or oral mucosa.
If present on teeth then it can be caries but if they are on oral mucosa then it can be staining due to smoking or tobacco chewing, melanine pigmentation so thorough clinical examination is required.
Take care.

Hi,
The location of the spot is not mentioned. If it is on your teeth it is decay which has to be restored. Pl get your self examined by a dentist to find the exact problem.
