I get numb toes when consuming a lot of alcohol

Hello. When i consume a lot of alcohol i get numb toes for anywhere up to five days after. I dont usually drink too much, about 15 units a week and dont have a problem with that amount but when i consume a lot of alochol my toes go numb, mainy my big ones. In the last three years i have probably had six big nights out for celebrations and consumed a lot of alcohol, binge drinking if you like, and on all of these occasions i have had the numb toes. What is causing this ?

it is due to sudden dificiency of b-complex vitamin-thiamin in your case.take inj thiamin along with other bcomplex vitamines, provided you should not drink alcohlo during therapy, see mr if you consume alcohol in huge quantity in short period,it is likely that you vl end up in acute pancreatitis eithr,or else alcoholic over dose it self. take extra care, bye

I returned home last night from a week long business trip that involved long hours and I drank 4 nights during and after dinner. (Not my norm). When I got home last night I saw my feet and was horrified!! Very swollen and numb toes and most of both feet. I feel the pressure in my toes but not much pain. Could this be from alcohol and is it necessary to see my Dr?

My feet/toes get so cold when I sit at night. The toes actually hurt and it takes a lot for me to get them warm. Even now when the weather is getting warmer my toes still get so cold. Then when they do get warm it almost feels like a rush of blood going into my feet and then they will get real warm. Could this be a circulation issue?

Our 31 year son has thoracic back issues. He is an addict, alcoholic and liar. He has been through rehab twice. At age 14 and again in his early 20 s. He is on MS contin prescribed by a pain doctor in Austin, TX. We just read the web information on MSContin and believe he should not be prescribed this medication as an addict. He is also a patient with MHMR. We believe he needs a dual diagnosis. Mental and Substance Abuse. Are there rehab centers that work with patients with no insurance with a dual diagnosis? He does not have a job. He got his TXDL back yesterday after a 180 day suspension for DUI. He still has not gone before the judge due to lawyer extensions. His biological father paid an attorney $2500 to represent him in court. The lawyer keeps putting extensions due to his schedule. The first court date was December. The second date was January and has now been pushed to February. We are concerned that his mentally ability combined with substance abuse (even though legally prescribed) keeps him from functioning. Do we stand to the side and watch the fall? Do we attempt to find a dual diagnosis treatment facility and try and get him on the new health care system (Obama Care)? We see the gravity of the situation and need guidance. If you can discuss dual diagnosis treatment facilities and the likelihood of Obama care paying for rehab? Thanks,
