Itchy, Swollen, Painful Red Toes With Patches Of Hard Skin On Feet, Numb Feet And Hand When In Cold. Thoughts?
16 year old girl, hands and feet go white and numb when in the cold for some time, but lately noticed swollen red toes affecting both feet; on left foot, the two toes furthest on the left (to smallest toes) and big toe and on right foot, two middle toes next to big toe.
toes are comparatively swollen and larger than usual especially at tips of toes., itchiness, inability to bend toes, and patches of hard skin, quite painful and annoying, especially sensitive when feet are hot. also, my small toes have gone a wobbly shape.

thank you for asking. This is hyperactive sympathetic response also called Raynaurd's phenomenon. It is excessie vasoconstriction of extremities blood vessels to the cold stimulus.
You want the treatment, Keep them warm thats all. wear warm stocking 24 hours a day, Use topical vasodilators cream on them. I suffer from very same condition., i use leather socks with woolen stockings underneath and they work like charm.
Nothing to worry about. More than 40 % population have these troubles. You are not alone in this
