I am suffering from mild polycystic ovary syndrome

Dr.Padmini mam, im Lakshmi (21yrs)married from kochi,kerala im suffering from mild polycystic ovary syndrome my doctor gave me metformin tablets (cetapin1000mg) is it good to take those tablets ? or any other problems in time when i get pregnant?

metformin tablet is to reduce the blood glucose levels, in the polycistic disease there will be increased blood glucose due to the effect of cysts. so it is necessary to take the metformin.
