General & Family Physician Dr. Prahlad S. Patki's  Response
Hi,
It appears to be a case of Chronic obstructive lung disase, in simple words, Bronchitis. It could be allergic one, you need to identify the allergin, (usually it is futile). Antiallergic medications and brochodilators ( medicines which help to open up your lungs ) are essential. Your local doctor may give you an inhaler containing these medicines. In the mean while try Bresol tablets- one tab twice daily. Avoid cold drinks and Icecreams. Add Citrus fruits in your diet. No smoking please.
Thanks.
