I Am Having Schizophrenia, Please Help
iam having schizophrenia since when i was 18 years. I got this disease when i was studying. I have been taking treatment for the same. Now iam fine, i donot have any complaints. I got married one year back. I revealed this to my husband about my illness. He is no problems with this. We are now planning to start our family. I need to know whethere i can conceive with all these medications. Do i need to take any precautions. I just need suggestions regarding this.

You will need medications and psychoeducation ( ideally with your partner) to understand the normal bodily changes accompanying pregnancy. Also there are some medications which needs to be avoided during pregnancy. Especially the antipsychotic medications. So I suggest you to have a detailed discussion with your doctor before planning for a child

it depends upon the medication u are taking as many medication...will lead to some problem to the fetus

Schizophrenia is a genetic disease. the disease might be transferred to your offspring also.

Will even your baby get schizophrenia, oh i am worried for you. its better to consult a doctor and ask him is this disorder can be transferred to the baby also.
