Suddenly, Im having issue with my heart skipping a beat. uhh..help.? Ok, this started happening spring of this year. (spring 2008). I never had this problem before. It is REALLY random, sometimes when Im out drinking with my buddies, or sometimes randomly when Im in bed doing nothing. It is really weird because I tried to watch for the pattern , but there isn t really a pattern of when it happens. As far as the symptom goes, its something like this. All of sudden, I feel my heart not beating(i don t know if this is the right term), and then it goes THUMP! and it start beating again regularly. It slows down again, and stops for a second, and beats hard once and same pattern goes on. It maybe last for 5 minutes? and completely goes away. Sometimes it last for more than 10 minutes, but thats rare. My family or myself never had history of heart problems. Im only 23 and this is beginning to freaking me out. Please help! Here are few of the stuff I think its worth mentioning for you guys to analyze. -Last year in 2007, I went through serious depression. I started smoking cigarettes twice as much. (one pack a day) -Last year in 2007, I did some drugs. I realized my stupidity and quit after 2 mths. -I took A.D.D. pills time to time for school. -I enjoy energy drinks like red-bull. -Im a weak drinker, usually drinks once a week and gets drunk really fast compared to others. -I usually have bad sleeping pattern. *wow, now that I think of it, those are some bad stuff.
