Welcome to Healthcare Magic
You are probably having allergic skin disease. You will need to apply oil or Petroleum jelly to the dry areas. If there are tiny black spot on the outer part of arms you could be having keratosis pilaris which may require retinoids, for which you will need to consult your Dermatologist. You will need Omega fatty acids as well as essential fatty acids from fish. In practice I have seen that those who use Johnson's baby oil over the dry skin in calves benefit a lot. You can try this kind of oil. Eat plenty of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Brisk walk for 40 minutes a day.

Hi
The dry skin calls for proper care. Locally apply glycerine mixed with lemon juice and rose water. Have balanced diet and to restrict skin ailments mahamanjishtha arisht is best.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic Forum

Have you been examined by a dr? if not then please see a homeopath or a dermatologist who can first diagnose the condition.
Such dryness of skin can be also due to hypothyroidism.

Meanwhile petroleum jelly will be very helpful, esp at night.

Balaned diet , containg right amt of fat, protein, carbo's and vitamins. Pleany of water and fruits. Moderate amt of nuts (walnuts) will be good for skin in general.

All the best.

Takecare
