I am farting a lot; is it because i was sick?

I am farting/burping a lot; is it because i was sick? Ok, so about a 3 days ago I was sick. I threw up and had diarehea (don t know how to spell it). Now I feel gassy and a my stomache is bothering me. I am farting and burping a lot. Does somebody know why?

As you say you had stomach infection few days ago this disturbs your digestive system. So more amount of gas is formed and not getting absorbed inside. so this pretty common, take light diet, more liquids then solids for couple of days you will be fine, Avoid aerated drinks.

The cause is stomach infection. just add garlic and ginger to you diet your problem will be solved.
