How Will Removal Of T-tube Of The Ear Impact Recurrence Of Infections?
Yesterday I attended the ENT dept at my local hospital and the Dr treating me put an ointment in my ear which means I cant hear anything what so ever out of that ear. The dr then advised me to take drops in 4 weeks time and to return in 6-8 weeks and we will review from there. The dr advised that I may have to have my T tube removed from my ear and that will leave me with a hole in my ear which means I will have recurring ear infections for the rest of my life. The Dr has also advised that I will need a hearing aide ..... Can you please explain a bit more what might be happening as my Dr didn t tell me very much at all and when he did speak to me I couldn t hear him .....
