I have a sore throat unlike any other I ve ever had. . . Started two weeks ago before an abroad trip - dr called in a zpack and it resolved although I felt like it would have anyway without the med. It flared up again a week ago and is so bad now I can barely swallow my saliva; my whole neck is very sore, ear even hurts, and I see white streaks and a white patch on the extreme left side in front of tonsils. Should I be worried and what to do?
If I were your treating doctor, I would advice you Antiseptic chlorhexidine Mouth Wash twice daily , Plenty of fluids , Antihistaminic levocetirizine + Montelukast combination , anti inflammatory analgesic Paracetemol + Ibuprofen combination & Vitamin C twice daily .
Certainly above treatment will give you much relief but if relief is not upto satisfaction level then consultation with your ENT doctor will become essential.
Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help. Regards.
