Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The bilateral pedal edema can be due to many problems. He can have a renal or cardiac problem and can be due to high salt intake. A proper examination is needed to find the cause.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
