How To Treat Swollen And Achy Abdomen?
I went to my gynecologist yesterday I had left a tampon in. She removed it and gave me medication metronidazole. I'm abdomen feels swollen and achy. How long does this typically last? also, I've been running a low grade fever and feel lethargic. Should I be concerned?

Hi,
I think that you may need a high dose of antibiotics for your condition and a combination of broad spectrum antibiotics will be required like Cefotaxime and Metronidazole, for at least 5 days. Also, start paracetamol and Pantoprazole for 5 days.
