How To Treat Sex Mediated Light Bleed While Temporary Relief With Primolut?

I experience very light bleeding during sex like 60 percent of the time. I also have a few fibroids but my obgyn checked and said they are not the cause and prescribed primolut. Whilst still taking it I had no bleeding but the day I stopped I experienced bleeding. I took it for 7 days twice a day now my period has come 3 days early and it is really heavy and uncomfortable not normal lots of blood clots. What should I do?

Hi,

Welcome to healthcaremagic.

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) Please get examined by a gynecologist for finding cause of bleeding.

2) It is normal to get periods after you stopped progesterone tablets.
