She consumed mothers feeding and also Formula (Lactogen) from Day1 we stopped the Formula when she turned 12 months and giving pasteurized Milk ( Approx 300-400 ml daily ) Can you please provide some diet so that she can get rid of this problem. PLease dont mention to provide Fiber rich food. It would be great if you can list few items which can be given. NOTE: Our Doc has suggested to give looz syrup, 10ml daily in the night. How To Treat Severe Constipation In A 13 Months Old Child?
Hi Vivek, You give the baby rice, khichadi,,idly, boiled vegetables including potato,,fruits like orange( not apple). You can give also a mixture of cereal kanji like ragi,,pottukadalai ( roasted Bengal gram) ,also available as manna mix. Along with this high fibre diet you also give enough water . Laxative is OK for a brief period of 10 days or so otherwise it may become a habit. Good luck Dr uma
