How To Treat Lump Under My Earlobe?

I have a hars pea sized lump under my left earlobe directly above the jaw line. Its causing throat and ear pain. I was diagnosed at an urgent care center as having an upper respiratory infection after they did a urine and strep test. My little sister passed away from cancer 2 years ago and im scared. Im a 21 year old female. Quit smoking 2 weeks ago was a smoker on and off for 3 years. Health conditions include afib, gallstones, and I have wisdom teeth coming in sideways. I thought it might be my teeth or tonsils but ive never had the lump. my tonsils are also uneven. Theyre the same size but one is lower than the other

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pea sized lump below the ear lobule above the jaw-line could be due to lymph node enlargement or salivary gland swelling.
A clinical assessment of the swelling is required.
An aspiration cytology is the first line treatment required for the swelling.
Aspiration cytology will sample the cells from the swelling, spread on glass slide and stained with appropriate stains.
This investigation will determine the site and nature of the lesion.
An upper respiratory tract infection can lead to lymph node enlargement.
Wisdom tooth usually causes local pain and swelling in the jaw region.
It will not cause swelling below the ear lobule.
Consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and relevant investigations.

Thanks and take care
