How To Treat Itching Of Eye?

Hi! So I have one eye that has one red vein that s been there for a while now (2 months or so). It doesn t hurt, and it doesn t itch until recently when the allergy season kicked up. But when I first got it it didn t itch at all- it was just red in that one vein. I went to the eye doctor (I mean, he s the doctor that does my contacts, so idk if he knows how to treat stuff like this) but he gave me allergy anti-itch eye drops even though I told him my eye wasn t itchy. My other eye is completely normal. As of right now, I m just taking allergy medicine and still using the eye drops, but they still haven t gone away. How long is it supposed to take for this red vein to go away?

The red vein you are talking about might be already there which you might have noticed 2 months ago. These are capillaries and are a kind of natural phenomenon so no need to worry about. Only worry if the red vein is increasing in size or number or if it creating any problem in vision or eyes. Sometimes an allergic reaction can cause vessels to come there as a kind of reaction but they are very minute but since you are having no problem it is a natural phenomenon so it may persist or go away on its own
