Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

In a child who is thriving well, 1-2 episodes of vomiting in a month is noting to be worried about. We can not label her as having GERD solely based on this. In GEDR, vomiting will be more frequent and children will not gain wait as expected. Inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's will cause recurring abdominal pain and loose stools, and is unlike to present with vomiting as major complaint. In short, from what you said, there is nothing to be worried. Stay relaxed.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
