How To Treat Dizziness After Vomiting In A Type 2 Diabetic ?

I have type 2 diabetic ,taking glycomate 500mg.Visitor in usa last three months.with no exercise and bit liberal in eating.one day , may be due to food problem and I had omitting sensation and trying hard to omit,but every time I could omit little.I was too much dizzy and complete room was circling.
Here in Thoronton medical centre I was put on drip two bottles and given travel sickness medicine.
After that I was bit better.Then I controlled my diet and glycomate taking 750mg.
As and to day I am better. but as I have come to support my children had to stay another three months.
Please advice

Hi,

Vomiting you experienced might be related to :
- over eating (being liberal in eating)
- food poisoning

It is normal to feel a bit dizzy after vomiting. If it will persist, then, you need further evaluation by ENT specialist and neurologist.

I advise to:
- be careful with foods/drinks you take to avoid spikes in blood sugar levels
- monitor your blood sugar and blood pressure, record the results for future reference
- take medications as prescribed by your doctor
- although being a visitor, you should do more walking exercise
- try to drink more water
- take good hygienic measures when preparing foods
