How To Treat Chronic Migraine?

I get chronic migraines I have been put on relapax not sure the mg but have had 2 dose with 2 pills of that on a daily basis for the last year followed by 6 Aleve daily as well I am now having pains in my stomach and back from it so I stopped taking it and told my neurologists, I have been given nothing to take when I do get a migraine but am still dealing with the pain not only in my head now in my back and stomach, what should I do?

I appreciate your concern!

I would recommend you to start on a prevention therapy for migraine in order to reduce the frequency and severity of migraine attacks.

Amytriptiline and nortriptiline are antidepressants very effective in migraine.
Other drugs of first choice would be topiramate or valproate.

These drugs should be given under doctor prescription and should be started slowly.
