I have been taking alieve and Tylenol several times a day. What can I do for it or why do you think it s getting worse? Should I go to chiropractor? I have no insurance.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query.Injury to back of neck can be variable. It can be a ligament injury to fractures of vertebrae or intervetebral disc damage. An examination with orthopedician will give clue for that and X ray followed by MRI might be required to confirm it.In such conditions i advise immobilization of neck in cervical collar NSAIDs like aceclofenac muscle relaxants like thiocolchicoside and neurotropic drugs.I also send them for physiotherapy and muscle strengthening exercise if there is no fracture or serious injury.Hope this may help you. Let me know if you have any further query.
