How To Stop Severe Coughing?

I got severe cough problem once a year. Dry cough blocked in chest. In the X-ray report it shows as follows: Chest P/A View: Calcific shadows are seen in both mid zones - old healed lesion. What is the problem? Dr.s here cant come to conclusion, as there is no allergy and other problem.

Hi,

There is some old and healed lesion in the chest X-ray, which is not an active lesion and does not require any treatment. As of now, you can take expectorant cough syrup for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
