I have been to an ENT physician and he told me that I have a small hole in my eardrum and a blood clot on it. I am on oral antibiotics. He said the blood clot may take 2 or 3 months to drop off but I would have to stay off of my blood thinner for several days if I want him to remove it. It is affecting my hearing in that ear and there is some discomfort. Should I ask my cardiologist to take me off of coumadin for 4 days or just wait until the blood clot falls off naturally?
U should consult ENT Surgeon and not Physician for this. In my opinion u need a wax dissolving drops for couple of days , your clot or may be wax will dissolve and ll be easy to remove
