How To Prevent PTB?

Hi,Iam Nima from Sikkim.I have PTB.But when I take my medicine it caused allergic reactions.My doctor introduced medicine from low dose but the allergy would not stop.The culture report says that I had to take the same medicines which caused allergy.Only Levofloxacin and Isoniazid did not cause allergy.And Iam also taking SM injection daily.So,what is the reason for this allergy?And can only this 3 medicines cure me sucessfully?e

Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Pulmonary tuberculosis is curable only when you take the specified drugs regularly for the prescribed period.
Some of the drugs are known to cause side effects. You need to somehow bear with this for the prescribed period.
It is not possible to reduce the number of drugs to treat tuberculosis effectively. What regimen has been prescribed need to be complied with 100%.
In case you take the treatment irregularly or decrease the number of drugs, the disease may become drug resistant, which would not only be difficult to treat, but also land you up in development of dreadful complications.
Hence, kindly follow the schedule what has been advised strictly.
