Hello,

Levofloxacine is an antibiotic to treat bacterial infection. In my opinion, your doctor give to you this treatment to treat an infection in the urinary tract or in the kidneys. You should take the medication as prescribed by your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
