How To Overcome Bloating And The Pain In My Intestinal Area?

I am 60 years old, female and I have had IBS for over 12 years. I take two 10 miligram dycyclomine pills every day. In the last year I have had three very bad episodes of severe pain in my intestinal area. It feels like a small bowling ball is in my gut. Very painful. Do I need a stronger dose or could it be something else? Plus my stomach gets very bloated. I try to be careful with my diet.

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would like to advise that you should get yourself clinically examined and investigated.

An ultrasound of abdomen will be helpful.

You can take an antacid like Omeprazole 40mg once a day before meals along with dicyclomine.

Following precautions will be helpful :-
1.Avoid spicy and oily foods.
2.Avoid being empty stomach for long periods.
3.Avoid smoking and alcohol, if any.

I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
