How To Induce Early Menstruation After Regestrone Treatment?

Hi My due date of menses is today but I wanted to prepone it As per doctor advice I had taken regestrone 10 mg pill twice per day for 5 days It s 4 th day of stopping the tablet still no symptoms of period I should finish my period within 5 th of this month. I don t want to have period from 6 th to 8th of this month due to puja what to do plz advice

Hello,

Ideally your periods will resume within 3 days after stopping the medication. You should start taking Regestron around 15 days before your expected date of menstruation. It is commonly taken for 7-10 days and stopped. Periods resumes in 2-4 days of stopping to take the medication.

Regestrone is commonly used for treatment of pregnancy, heavy periods, irregular periods, delay periods, premenstrual syndrome, etc. To prepone your period for social reasons, you can also take estrogen and progesterone combination or the progesterone-only pills, it also works well.
