How To Get Rid Of Yeast Infection?

i'm 38 weeks pregnant and i have a yeast infection, they gave me a three night suppository to take and tonight is my last night of taking it, when i inserted the suppository with the applicator and took out the applicator i noticed it was covered in thick, yellowish discharge, is that my mucus plug?

Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion yeast infection has thick curdy white discharge. And yeast infection is routinely seen in pregnancy. But as you saying it is yellow it might be some other infection.Betadine vaginal tablets might help you so discuss regarding that with your doctor. If needed you might go for culture abd sensitivity test of discharge .So after completing course get examined by the consultant and rule out the cause.
