How To Get Rid Of Seizure Disorder?

I went to see a neuro physician and he said I have a seizure disorder because I have periods of wetting the bed while I am sleeping. My testing showed a small abnormality but they cannot be sure it is a seizure disorder. They are baseing their diagonsis on the bed wetting. I have starting to ween myself my afternoon dose of medication. I have anappointment in a few weeks with my physician and will be asking him to take me off all the medication. What is your feed back?

Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

You should know that it is not advisable to stop anti-epilepsy drugs on your own decision, without consulting with the doctor. These drugs should be continued for a long time (at least three years after the last seizure), because they may lead to uncontrolled seizures, if stopped before.
A prolonged EEG or sleep deprivation EEG would help give more information on the EEG and seizures, and also help reassure you about your diagnosis.
You should discuss with your doctor on these issues.
Hope to have been helpful to you!
Kind regards!
