How To Get Rid Of Pregnancy Remnant Post Abortion?

Hello dr,i took cytotec pills lastweek wednesday after realisn i was preg.bin bleedin heavily since d first day of usage till date.used d drugs for 3days,visitd a Dr yestyday,as i did a scan which shows i still av remnant of d preg.my questn is-can d remnant still mean or turn to pregnancy? And will d remnant eva come out on its own? Pls am serious dying for an answer,thank u

Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
The remnants now cannot turn into a pregnancy.
That is impossible.
Remnants after a medical abortion can be managed in two ways.
If the remnant size is not significant, ie, it is less than 15 mm in measurement, then further dosage of medical abortion pills can be taken.
That would probably expel the contents.
If not, then if the size is significantly more than 15 mm, surgical abortion would be needed.
