How To Get Rid Of My Cough With Phlegm?
Sir/madam,
I have cough from past 3years. Cough with phlegum. I consult my doctor, he give syrups and tablets. Now i am taking LUVENT-LC. But still there is no improvement. Searching on internet i come to know about SHALLAKI CAPSULS by HIMALAYA. please help me in getting out from thus disease.

Hi Dear,
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have phlegm and cough in your throat which is because of upper respiratory track infection and post nasal drip. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test , blood test and CT scan to confirm the condition like sinusitis . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin or penicillin ) at least for 10 days along with decongestant . For now do warm saline gargles , take steam and drink glass of warm water with spoon of honey mixed in it .You should take steam inhalation. Apply humidifiers in room. Inhale vaporizers and suck on throat lozenges. Avoid cold carbonated beverages. You should expectorant type of cough syrup with an antihistamine. Drink plenty of fluids.
