Hi,

According to your history:
- Regarding endometriotic cyst, please repeat the ultrasound once to find out the present condition of the cyst, if the size reducing further, you can wait and watch.
- Regarding the amenorrhea sine December, there is possibility of hormonal imbalance like PCOD, as you are having weight gain, irregular periods, hirsute tendency
- Danocrine, contains Danazol which is an androgen, can also lead to side effects like weight gain, irregular periods, hirsute tendency.

So, please consult your doctor once, get examined and go for ultrasound, serum testosterone levels. This helps in finding the present condition of the endometriotic cyst and also to rule out PCOD etc. After that you can take tablets for withdrawal bleeding, then depending the size of the cyst you can continue the treatment with other options for endometriosis like combined pills, progesterone containing medicines, GnRH analogues etc.

At your age, low dose combined pills can help in decreasing the endometriosis, regularizing the menstrual cycles and also you can have contraceptive benefits after marriage.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
