How To Get Disc Space Back With History Of Post Surgery Auto Fused L4-5 Through The Sacrum?

my lower back [ l4-5 through the sacrum has auto fussed after a doctor removed the L 4-5 disk and did not support the area with any hardware, this was done in 1996 and it causes severe pain in the area, do you know of any way to get the disc space back ? Thank you

hi,
you have undergone through L4-5 discectomy earlier (due to some pathology in your spine) which later leads to arthodesis ie fusion of these two spine later , so dont worry regarding fusion.
You must have undergone this surgery only after neurological problems like radiating pain , tingling etc. and symptoms must hav relieved after undergoing operative intervention. As you are again having these symptoms then you should do physiotherapy , with warm compression and symptomatic treatment (analgesics with ppi. ). If the symptom persist even after 2 weeks or aggravates then consult an orthopaedician(it may be recurrance at other level).
