General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Noted the history about a 28 year old male who is a rafter trainer but can not go underwater for long as he develops pain in ears, also have red eyes, feels nostril blockage, right ear canal problem, and feels there is reduced hearing.
Although you have already consulted an ENT Surgeon you will have to consult him again for the following reasons:
Complete ENT Endoscopy.
CT scan or so as needed.
Audiometry to confirm whether there is a real reduced hearing and if present then the cause and type and probable treatment.
Since the eyes are red there must be an element of an allergy.
Get an antihistamine and oral steroid if required in phased manner to get over the problem.
To find the reason for swelling on the right ear canal and get treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
