Hi
dear
205 ejection fraction maens critically dangererous ejection fraction.
Ejection fraction of a normal person is 60% , this means that if 100ml blood comes to the body , 60% will be supplied to the body.Less then 30% e.f signifies critically dangerous ejection fraction. sory but ef can drop from 60% to 20% in few days , it can be he hd a silent heart attack or myopathy, heart transplant is not that easy as you have to find a brain dead owner.
LVAD left ventricular assisted device is atransition zone between cardiac transplant and heart detoriation, he could be given aLVAD for 3 years , during this time you make sure to get a brain dead donor of heart.
good luck
at a ef of 20% patient can have any life threatining arrythmia , which can lead to cardiac arrest , 5 year survival rate is less then 20% without aicd or lvad
