How To Avoid Alcohol Consumption?

sir my friend consumes alcohol regularly or we can say he is addicted to alcohol. for few day he has been forced to stop drinking by his family. two day back he complained of vomiting with blood . headache and restlessness. He also consumed 4-5 tablets of dispirin the day he vomited. Now he feel sleepy with blurred speech and memory loss problem. His parents are confused whether he is addicted to some drugs or just doing emotional drama to get their sympathy for gettiing some financial help as he is unemployed to fullfill his desire for alcohol. His parents has already spared lot of money on him.

HI,
THANKS FOR USING HEALTHCARE MAGIC.
THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT YOUR FRIEND HAS BEEN ADDICTED TO ALCOHOL. THE CAUSE OF HEMATEMESIS (VOMIT WITH BLOOD) MIGHT BE DUE TO GASTRITIS DUE TO ASPIRIN AND PARTLY DUE TO ALCOHOL.
THE SYMPTOMS SUCH AS RESTLESSNESS, HEADACHE WERE "WITHDRAWAL SYMPTOMS" DUE TO SUDDEN STOPPAGE OF ALCOHOL.
BUT THE OTHER SYMPTOMS SUCH AS INCREASED SLEEP, MEMORY LOSS, BLURRED SPEECH NEEDS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY BECAUSE THIS MAY BE DUE TO DELIRIUM (ACUTE CONFUSIONAL STATE) OR DUE TO KORSAKOFF PSYCHOSIS. BOTH ARE MEDICAL EMERGENCIES. IT IS BETTER YOU SHOW HIM TO A SPECIALIST FOR FURTHER EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT. THESE ARE NOT EMOTIONAL DRAMA AND HE NEEDS IMMEDIATE MEDICAL TREATMENT.
