Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

If the diagnosis of typhoid fever is right and substantiated by investigation, 48 to 72 hours after starting appropriate antibiotic the fever should show improvement. As the child has been fever free for 12 hours it's likely the baby is improving.
Rest be assured there is no cause for concern.

Take care
