How much carbohydrates should I have in a day to help gain weight ?
Hi! Doctor , I am meet currently my weight is 58 kg earlier it was good enough 67 something, I have started gymnastic now the question is- how do I gain weight and how much carbohydrate I need in a day also please guide me with some health tips.

First of all get yourself examined by a Physician to rule out the cause for so much of weight loss. You may want to workout for at least an hour daily. You can do push ups, cardio and crunches. Eat Protein rich foods like Green leafy veggies, eggs, milk, chicken, fish and Fresh fruits. Avoid stress and Practice Yoga and Meditation.
Don't go for junk food and if you smoke or drink, Quit. Regular exercise will not only increase your Muscle mass but also will increase your appetite.

I am a diabetic since last 5 years, age 33 years and on insulin Human actrapid 7 for breakfast, 7 in afternoon and 2 in evening with 16 units of Humalog mix 25.HbA1C is 6.2%. I do routine excercise for 30 minutes daily and my weight is 59 kgs. I am slim since birth but now want to increase weight only little bit may be about 65 kgs. Sugar is somewhat better but I realized just few weeks back that by counting every time s carbohydrate and adjusting dose, sugar could be controlled better. Also, I think I may need to adjust my basal dose. These days I started to felt that my leg and tongue have somewhat less sensation but I hope if I control better all this would improve. Can you please guide me in correct direction. I am a pure vegetarian.
Is it possible that a person who has been on a low carb diet losing weight rapidly can go off for 17 days eating a lot of carbs and gain nearly 50 pounds of fat back? Also, legs are very swollen and exercise was neglected for those 17 days when the person had been working our for 11/2 hours with cardio/weight training each day. Is a lot of this water weight? Dangerous? Will it start to go back down with low carb and exercise?
hi how are you? I just started taking cyproheptadine two days ago. I was told by a friend that it helped her cousin gain weight. I bought it from a local store that sold them. on the front of the pack it says 4mg but it came with two different packs of blista packs... i was told to take one of each everyday. im 22 years old and im about 117 poinds now and I dont have a weight goal yet but im hoping to atleast gain 10 15 more pounds then deside from there.
