How Long Should I Take Presidone For Breathing Problem Due To Pleuris?

Hi, at the moment I have pleurisy and am taking antibotic, and 2x20mg of presidone to help the breathing. I started taking them on Tuesday and today is Thursday and my breathing is still laboured (have copd ) how long will it take for the presidone to work properly and any other suggestions. Many thanks

Pleurisy ? But what is the reason of pleurisy ? tuberculosis or carcinoma or trauma or any other reason.
As you mentioned that your are taking antibiotics & prednisolone 20 mg 2 times in day for breathing problem .
As you are also a patient of C O P D.
As your history of illness is very ambiguous so it is very difficult to say that , how long you should take prednisolone 20 mg .
As you also mentioned that after a treatment of three days there is no relief in breathing problem.
In my opinion there is something "missing " in your treatment , so either upload complete report of treatment or consult a " PULMONOLOGIST " for proper treatment ( 2nd opinion ) .
