What Is That Sound Ringing In My Ears?

I fell asleep last night with a heating pad on my chest as I am recovering from pleurisy. I woke up sweating worse than ever before and almost fainted. This lasted for several minutes. I also ringing in my ears. Can it be that the heating pad raised my body temp too high?

Hello,

Heating pad don't cause ringing in ears. What was the cause of pleurisy and what treatment is given or you are on still?

All you need to be answered: you need to have your ears examined, audiometric tests.

General advice:

1. don't use any ear preparations.
2. take good nutritious food
3. avoid physical strains
4. controlled physical movement to avoid sudden fall
